Superintendent's Message

Patrick Richardson

Spring has sprung and we are quickly headed towards the end of the school year and the beginning of summer.  Students will be starting testing very soon.  Our district has a history of preforming very well on the statewide assessments and I expect no different this year.  We have the greatest student body in the state, and I look forward to seeing their success.

There will be many awards programs and ceremonies to come, marking the great accomplishments and milestones of our students this year.  Enjoy the programs, ceremonies, and graduation celebrations!!

Summer is right around the corner and I am sure everyone is looking forward to a long break.  The last day of school is scheduled for May 17.  I hope everyone enjoys a fun and safe summer with beautiful weather and great summer holidays.

The teachers and district staff will be gearing up to start a new school year in August.  Opening day of school for the 2019-2020 school year is August 7.   I would like to thank all our stakeholders and community members for their support and for making this a very successful year for Pulaski County Schools and for helping us prepare our children for their future.
