District Accreditation Report 2019 Accredited by AdvancED SACS

Pulaski County Schools (PCS) underwent the process for re-accreditation this school year, and the results are glowing.  PCS scored more than 50 points higher than the normal range.  The accrediting agency, AdvancED*, uses their Index of Education Quality (IEQ) to measure academic opportunities and support systems of the 36,000 schools and districts in its global network.  A normal IEQ ranges 278-283; PCS scored 335.

New Immunization Requirements 2018-19

Effective July 1:       ALL students in kindergarten through twelfth grade must show proof of having received two doses of Hepatitis A vaccine to attend school.

Students ages 16 years or older must show proof of having received two doses of Meningococcal ACWY vaccine to attend school.  If the first dose of MenACWY was received at age sixteen, the second dose is not required for school entry.

To meet these requirements, a current certificate of immunization status must be provided to the school showing the date your child received these vaccine(s).
